After a 30-year career in banking, Kristina founded KM Funding Group to further assist her clients with innovative funding solutions specific to healthcare professionals and real estate investors.  As the Vice President of commercial lending for community banks such as BankUnited and Bank Atlantic, Kristina funded more than $50 million in commercial loans with a primary concentration in healthcare.

During her banking career she gained an understanding of the differences in credit culture between community banks, regional banks, and national banking environments.  Kristina’s success was driven by her unique ability to underwrite, package and present complex lending transactions in a way that meets the goals of the client and the lender.  Her expert knowledge and ability to skillfully navigate the commercial finance process has saved her clients time and money, replaced their uncertainty with confidence, expedited their closings, and earned Kristina respect within the industry.

Lenders are not one size fits all. Kristina spent two years working as a commercial broker where she learned the world of finance that lies beyond banking.  Her experience as a commercial broker reinforced the importance of understanding client needs and appropriately placing credit requests with lenders who understand the business and are set up internally to support the need.  

Throughout her career Kristina has established strong working relationships with her peers and is well regarded among some of the most knowledgeable and productive lenders in the industry.  Kristina often deals with trusted decision-making lenders when facilitating lending requests for her clients.  

Kristina lives in Vero Beach, Florida with her husband Kiernan and three children Liam, Seamus and Sloane.  She enjoys spending her free time running, boating and traveling.  She is passionate about cultural diversity and spends some of her time as a community counselor for Au Pair in America.   Kristina has a BA from Lindenwood University, St Charles, MO.
